Stinging Pest Control

Serving Customers Like Family Since 1989
Stinging pests come in a range of forms and sizes, but they are all easily identifiable. Since Adam was expelled out of Eden, Yellowjackets, Paper Wasps, Bald-faced hornets, and Bumblebees have terrorized humans. The majority of us know someone who is allergic to bee stings. This is a major health risk, but even if you are not allergic, being stung is unpleasant! Alot!

Here’s what we do:

All stinging pests require unique treatment, much more so if they are pollinators. Whether you have nests in your eaves, on the ground, or in your walls, we have the technology and experience to quickly eliminate your stinging pest problem.

ID/Inspection

To the majority of people, all stinging pests are referred to be bees or hornets. Proper identification, on the other hand, is just somewhat more complex. All stinging pests are pretty easy to identify based on their appearance. If you send us a photograph of the pest or even the nest, we nearly always recognize it that way. We really must determine if they are one of the few pollinator species that require particular care - namely Honeybees and Bumblebees.

Stinging Pest Control

Effective treatment options range significantly, from applying a dust immediately within the nest to spraying entire eaves to eliminate nests and prevent them from rebuilding. Honeybee nests must be physically removed without causing harm to the bees. This may be a very intrusive operation for your home, as well as an additional expenditure.

Follow Up

While the majority of enclosed nests may be effectively treated in a single visit, eave treatments may require periodic visits to prevent wasps from establishing new nests in the future. Generally, treatment every other month during the spring, summer, and early fall is sufficient to maintain total control.

Prevention

The most effective method of prevention is to establish a routine treatment program that includes stinging pests. From late spring to early fall, this often entails treating particular parts of the structure every other month.

Warranty

If the nest does not die within a week of the initial treatment, we will return at no additional cost and treat it until it dies. Alternatively, if you are enrolled in one of our regular treatment packages that includes stinging pests, we will return to treat any nests that form at no additional fee.
